The effects of COVID-19 have been difficult for everyone, but they have been especially difficult for those who are 65 years old and older. Many of you have been isolated in your homes, keeping you from family visits, social gatherings, and worship services. And that includes not being able to take Communion on a regular basis.
On Thursday, August 13, from 9 to 11 am, at all of our CLC sites, there will be communion appointments available for those 65 years old and older. Appointments will be every 15 minutes, and each time slot is limited to 6 people. These appointments will consist of confession, absolution, the Lord’s Prayer, the sharing of the peace, the words of institution, Holy Communion, and the benediction.
