What to Expect
Cornerstone Lutheran Church (CLC) warmly welcomes and cares for people at all stages of life, including children, youth, couples, singles, parents, and seniors. It doesn’t matter how much you know about the Bible or the Lutheran church, whether you have ever attended church, or have questions concerning the role of the church in your life, we invite you to join us and learn more!
We welcome children in worship! Will they get rambunctious and noisy? Maybe--but that's OK! We're just glad you're here. But, if you feel you need to take them out, we do have a staffed nursery (for infants to 3 year olds) open during our worship and education time at our Carmel and Fishers sites. There is also a cry room/area at all our sites where you can take child and still enjoy worship.
We are a multisite church with three locations - Carmel, Fishers, and Indianapolis. Visit each location’s page to learn more about its worship times, unique characteristics, and specific opportunities.
We offer two distinct styles of worship – traditional and contemporary. You can read more about these worship settings on our location pages.
What Should I Wear?
We want you to feel comfortable when you visit us, and that goes for what you're wearing. There's no "dress code". You’ll see people wearing jeans and a T-shirt, as well as others in a dress or suit. You'll fit in no matter how you dress.
We'd love to learn more about you! If you're a first-time visitor, looking for a church home or have a prayer request, please fill out our online connection card here.
Discover Cornerstone Lutheran
Discover Cornerstone Lutheran, or DCL, is an eight-week class taught by pastors and staff that introduces you to the beliefs and ministry of our congregation. Specifically designed for those who are interested in becoming part of the life and ministry of Cornerstone Lutheran Church, sessions provide a deeper look into the church’s mission and focus, plus what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. You'll learn more about your spiritual gifts, explore ministry areas of interest, and discover how to integrate into the everyday life of CLC.
The class will meet for 8 weeks. Upon our return to face-to-face worship, we will have a special service to welcome you as members of Cornerstone Lutheran Church if you wish to partner with us in our mission of building others up in the Good News of Jesus Christ.
If God has been drawing you to the ministry at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, then know that we are certain there is a purpose and a place for you here. To RSVP or receive more information about the next DCL class, fill out the short form found by CLICKING HERE.
